Hook size 5.5mm (US size I)

Hook 3.75mm (US size F)

4.5 oz (brown yarn)

6 oz (dark brown yarn)

7 oz (orange yarn)

7 oz (white yarn)

1 oz (yellow yarn)

Rd 3: Ch 2, *2 Dc in next Dc then 1 Dc in the next Dc * repeat  11 times.  Sl to join (36 Dc)

Rd 7-15: Ch 2 *1 Dc in each Dc* Sl to join. Fasten off and weave in ends. (72 Dc)

Accessory Directions

Turkey Feathers

Fold beanie in half and join dark brown yarn to Dc space. *Shell in next Dc space, Sc in next Dc space.* repeat 13 times (14 shells)

Turkey Head

Hook size 5.5mm (US size I)

Pink yarn

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch2, Dc in ring 11 times. Sl to join. (12 Dc)

Rd 2: Ch 2, 2 Dc in each Dc. Sl to join. (24 Dc)

Rd 3: Ch 2, *2 Dc in next Dc then 1 Dc in the next Dc * repeat  11 times.  Sl to join and fasten off. Sew to beanie. (36 Dc)

Turkey Beak

Hook 3.75mm (US size F)

Yellow yarn

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch1, Sc in ring 8 times. DON’T JOIN (8 Sc)

Rd 2: Ch 1, 1 Sc in each St. Do not Sl (8 Sc)

Rd 3: Ch1, *1 Sc in same St, 2 Sc in next St* repeat 4 times. Fasten off and sew to turkey head. (12 Sc)

Turkey Wattle

Hook 3.75mm (US size F)

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch1, Sc in ring 9 times. (9 Dc)

Rd 2: Ch 2, 1 Dc in same St, 1 Dc in next St. (3 Dc)

Rd 3: Ch 2, 1 Dc in next St. Fasten off and sew to beak. (2 Dc)

Turkey Eyes White (make two)

Hook size 5.5mm (US size I)

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch2, Dc in ring 11 times. Sl to join. Fasten off. (12 Dc)

Turkey Pupil Black (make two)

Hook 3.75mm (US size F)

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch1, Sc in ring 8 times. Fasten off and sew to turkey white eye. (8 Sc)

Sew eyes to turkey head and then sew turkey head to beanie.

Carrot nose (Orange yarn)
Using hook 3.75mm (US size F)
Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl. 6 Sc in loop and join with Sl. (6 Sc)
Rd 2: 2 Sc in each Sc. DO NOT JOIN WITH Sl.
Rd 3-6: 1 Sc in each Sc. Mark beginning with a stitch marker. Fasten off.
Stuff nose with felt or batting and sew on to beanie.
Use yarn needle to attach to beanie.

Eyes (Black Yarn and White yarn)
Using hook 5.5mm (US size I)
Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl st. Ch 3 and then 11 Dc in loop. Fasten off.
Thread a piece of white yarn between two Dc to add eye sparkle.
Use yarn needle to attach eye to beanie.

Mouth (Black yarn)
With yarn needle sew mouth half-smile

Rd 2-3: Sc in each St. Fasten off and sew to face.

Cheeks (Make two)

Red yarn

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch2, Dc in ring 11 times. Sl to join. (12 Dc)

Mustache/Eyebrows (Make four)

Hook 3.75mm (US size F)

Black yarn

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch2, Dc in ring 11 times. Sl to join. (12 Dc)

Rd 2-3: Ch1, Sc in same St, Sc in next 3 Sc

Rd 4: Ch1, Skip first Sc and Sc in next 3 Sc

Rd 5: Ch1, Skip first Sc and Sc in next 2 Sc

Rd 6: Ch1, Sc in same St, Sc in next 2 Sc

Rd 7: Ch1, Skip first Sc and Sc in next Sc

Pom-pom

Gold yarn

Wrap yarn around pointer and middle finger approximately twenty times. (For a fuller pom-pom wrap thirty times.) Cut a twelve inch piece of yarn and tie wound yarn in the middle. Cut loops and then shape into pom-pom with scissors. Attach to hat before stuffing.

Hook size 5.5mm (US size I)

Black Yarn

Gold yarn

Rd 1: Magic loop or Ch 3 and join with Sl to form ring. Ch2, Dc in ring 11 times. Sl to join. (12 Dc)

Rd 2: Ch 2, 2 Dc in each Dc. Sl to join. (24 Dc)

Rd 3: Ch 2, Hdc in each Dc. Sl to join. (24 Hdc)

Rd 4-8: Ch 2, 2 Dc in each Dc. Sl to join. Fasten off. (24 Dc)

Rd 9-10: Join gold yarn Ch 1, 1 Sc in each St. Sl to join. Fasten off. (24 Sc)

Use batting or rolled felt to stuff hat. Sew to hat.

Hair

Cloud yarn

Latch hook

With latch hook attach six inch strips to Dc around half of the hat and continue along each row to the sixth row down from the top of the beanie.

Special instructions

Pin pieces to hat before sewing them on to make sure they are symmetrical. Using a head stand is very beneficial.
